※ ISO 14001:2015
All our actions affect, exploit or influence the general environment. We live and work in the Environment and every activity we carry out has an impact on it, therefore the Company's Management should also include the aspects of Respecting the Environment and reducing the Impact of the activity, as a key determinant in the quality of its development.
The International Standard EN ISO 14001 talks about the requirements that the Company must fulfill in relation to the Environmental Management System.
Experience in the application of Environmental Management Systems confirms that the basis of the idea of its protection is an excellent framework for innovative development, pollution prevention and protection of natural resources.
It provides a structured and systematic framework for managing the interactions between the organization/company and the environment. This standard is in line with the standards of other management systems.
The Environmental Management System (EMS) includes the organizational structure, planning activities, responsibilities, compliance with the legal framework, practices, procedures for the development, implementation, achievement, review, preservation and environmental management policy.
The basic elements of SMM (EMS) are:
- Decisions made by the Company Administration on the need to implement the environmental protection system in:
Determination of environmental management policies;
Planning the Company's activities;
The planned implementation of the Company's activities;
Evaluation of results;
Continuous improvement;

The International Standard ISO 14001:2015 is intended for companies that implement, apply and want to improve the EMS system to be able to be certified by an Independent Entity that ensures that the SMM (EMS) system is in accordance with the ISO 14001 Standard.
ISO 14001: 2015 is formalized in the company "Environmental Management Policy and Objectives" taking into account all relevant national laws that discipline this field. The standard is applicable to all types and sizes of organizations/companies.
The certificate issued by TÜV NORD is under the German Accreditation DAkkS (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle).

※ ISO 14021
¤ ISO 14021 ¤ ISO 14024 ¤ ISO 14025
In many EU countries, it is required that the materials used have a certain percentage of recycled or recyclable product. The ISO 14021 standard provides companies with guidelines for drafting transparent self-declarations regarding the environmental performance of their products, including the percentage of recycled material they contain.
For self-declarations regarding the percentage of recycled plastic used in the production of products or their parts, including the MOBIUS LOOP mark,
TÜV NORD offers companies a third-party verification service by means of a special protocol that applies in our audit.
TÜV NORD verifies, through an audit, the entire process for determining the declared results (input data, supply chain, production plant, system processes) in order to be able to confirm the truth and correctness of self-declarations on the environmental claim.
After the positive result of the audit, TÜV NORD publishes the validity report of the "Supply Chain Assessment".
The validity of the self-declared certification according to the ISO 14021 standard by TÜV NORD, an independent certification body from third parties, significantly increases its authority and credibility, placing the company and its products in a prominent position in the market.

In addition to more and better business opportunities, certification can bring advantages in terms of meeting the minimum environmental requirements according to current legislation, for example in relation to public administration and sustainable construction.

※ Climate Neutral Company TN-CC 020
Climate Neutral Company/organizations.
This verification is addressed to companies, authorities or local and other bodies, which are actively dealing with: climate change and its consequences; reduce greenhouse gas emissions; and wish to document their sense of responsibility to the outside world.
TÜV NORD CERT performs the verification based on the TÜV NORD TN-CC 020 standard.
Before the verification is performed, a CO2 footprint and a CO2 compensation calculation must be created in accordance with the requirements of the standard. Successful verification is confirmed by a certificate and the certification also entitles the certificate holder to use the TÜV NORD test mark for climate neutrality.
※ ISO 14064
ISO 14064 is related to Greenhouse Gases and deals with verification reports for gas emissions.
For its Certification services, TÜV NORD can rely on extensive expertise in the field of climate protection (national and international) and extensive experience in carbon footprint certification.
In addition, TÜV NORD is accredited in the UNFCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) to certify and verify international climate protection projects. To date, we have evaluated more than 3000 projects in the world (Clean Development Mechanism, Joint Implementation, Voluntary Compensation).
TÜV NORD was the first among the certifying bodies in Germany to be accredited by DAkkS for the verification of greenhouse gas inventories according to ISO 14064 and is one of the few bodies that can offer this accredited German service in Albania.
Through this cooperation, we can offer a Greenhouse Gas Emissions verification service from the TÜV NORD Certification Company, in accordance with the ISO 14064 standard and the European Commission Regulation (EU) 600/2012.
Through our representation in Albania, it is possible to request and obtain this specific Certification. You can send your request in the predefined module above or contact us directly.
※ CBAM
CBAM is the European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). It ensures that imported goods have the same COâ‚‚ costs as products produced in the EU. In this way, the EU wants to prevent companies from moving their production to countries with lower environmental standards just to lower prices. This effect is known as “carbon leakage”.
The CBAM adjustment phase is in force from 1 January 2026 and currently applies to goods that are produced with high COâ‚‚ emissions.
These include
- steel,
- aluminium,
- cement,
- fertilisers,
- electricity,
- hydrogen,
※ ISCC EU
Against the backdrop of climate change and de-carbonization, systems that promote the sustainability of raw materials used in industrial production and processing are increasingly important. For this reason, the European Union has approved the RED I 2009/28/EC Directive in 2011 and the more restrictive RED II 2018/2001 Directive. Nowadays, there is in place the RED III Directive, also in Albania.

The Albanian law which is under approval (2023) sets a limit of 5% of Biofuel content in Hydrocarbons. Until 2025, the Biofuel content limit will be at least 10%. And byl 2030, the lower limit will be, like the EU, 14% Biofuel in hydrocarbons for transport, and with the highest content of all hydrocarbons on the market.
The certificate for sustainable biomass is an effective and reliable instrument to ensure and prove compliance with the requirements of the EU Directive and Albanian Laws.
※ ISCC PLUS
ISCC PLUS is a scheme established by ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification), and covers food for humans / animals and applications for technical and chemical products.
ISCC-PLUS and REDcert certification make it possible to fulfill the requirements for environmental sustainability. Raw materials and products with sustainability certification can achieve higher prices in the market.

The standards guarantee environmental sustainability in the plastics industry, the chemical and technical industries.
The certification identifies the company as a vanguard in this sector, giving it prestige, as according to EU communications on the subject of plastics, this certification will be mandatory in the future. This can be used worldwide to demonstrate the sustainable use of biomass and/or recycling from packaging waste in the chemical industry and also in different industrial sectors.
Substitution of fossil-based raw materials helps to protect the environment and energy efficiency.
ISCC PLUS also considers environmental sustainability at all stages of supply and production chains in the food industry.
