TISAX® is a Standard for evaluating Information Security Systems of companies in the automotive sector.
It aims at the protection and integrity of the data, as well as the availability both during the production process of automobiles and during the operation of the vehicle.
Behind TISAX® is an Information Security Management System (ISMS) similar to that defined by the International Standard ISO 27001.
Based on this standard, the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has developed a set of catalogs of requirements (ISA) according to the specific needs of the automotive industry.
The effectiveness of an ISMS can be demonstrated by successfully passing an independent assessment by an authorized partner, like TÜV NORD.
If so, ENX*, the organization that administers and manages the TISAX® program, issues a TISAX® label on its online platform.

WHAT DOES THE ISO 39001 STANDARD DEFINE?
ISO 39001 is the Road Traffic Safety Management System (RTS), published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 2012.
The standard provides a tool to help organizations reduce, and ultimately eliminate, the incidence and the risk of death and serious injuries related to road traffic accidents. This focus can result in a more cost-effective use of the road traffic system.

The Road Traffic Safety Management System ISO 39001 is applicable to public and private organizations that interact with the road traffic system. It can be used by internal and external parties, including certification bodies, to assess the organization's ability to meet road traffic work requirements.
Experience around the world has shown that major reductions in deaths and serious injuries can be achieved by adopting a Safety System approach to Road Traffic Safety. This includes a clear focus on RTS results and the actions described in the Certificate, supported by appropriate capacities of Organizational Management.
ISO 39001 identifies elements of good RTS management practice that will enable organizations to achieve the desired safety outcomes. It shows that it has a quality management system for achieving the promised quality and continuous improvement.
